Tomas is a co-founder and Partner at Lagom LLP, with 14 years of experience providing accounting, assurance and tax services to privately held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. His experience includes a strong focus on assurance engagements, technical accounting matters and the development of effective processes that support both financial reporting and business operations.
Originally from Slovakia, Tomas began his accounting career with BDO after moving to Canada, where he earned his Chartered Professional Accountant designation through the legacy Chartered Accountant program. He subsequently continued his career with large international accounting firms, taking on progressively senior management roles and responsibilities. His experience has included leading assurance engagements as well as developing and implementing internal processes designed to improve the quality and efficiency of assurance practices and firm operations. Tomas later co-founded Lagom LLP and currently serves as a practice reviewer with CPA Alberta.
